Control Camera Motion Alerts based on Mode

It doesn't seem possible to control motion alerting based on Mode. I am switching to Ring from Arlo, and am very much missing this feature. I want my cameras to capture motion whether I'm Home or Away, but only want to be notified when I'm away. Unless I'm missing something this isn't possible with Ring. I search for other posts on this topic, but only found some articles from a couple years back that suggested just hitting Snooze - which isn't a great work-around. Wondering the best way to escalate this to Ring - seems a pretty basic capability that makes sense (to me at least), and something that might prevent migration from competitors.
