Camera not Recording -Ring Helpdesk Not Helpful

Why do my 4 ring camera’s not record people talking or interacting? I did call the Ring helpdesk and after navigating the ‘automated system’ I spoke to a technical support rep who let me know there was nothing to be done. Good news it only took him 5 mins to come to that conclusion. What I have done: Updated all software Charged all batteries Video area is set wide Motion Detector is Enabled Lens on all cameras are clean I spoke with helpdesk at Ring, he confirmed no device issue. I get notifications of cars passing, and birds flying. But when someone dug through my trash this morning nothing was recorded. Has anyone else had these issue?
