Floodlight Cam (2nd generation) wired Wifi signal RSSI-64 Motion sensitivity high Motion detection zone set to full screen on mobile app The camera captures our driveway (some of our street, the neighbours houses across the road too). We’ve had thieves lurking around our vehicles at night and in clear view of the camera (no trees or obstacles), and the camera doesn’t detect people and notify us (or even register a person when we review the footage).  It will register as motion but by then it’s too late and not recording in a timely manner.  It’s also inconsistently capturing motion. Tonight it recorded a car driving past, but when I reversed into the driveway in clear view, it didn’t capture me entering the camera view until I was in my driveway.  The chat bot feature is absolutely useless.  I’ve searched online for solutions and am at a loss. We’ve got 4 cameras and I’m highly considering switching to another more useful product and brand that isn’t Ring.

Hi @user_1df8e3. An RSSI of -64 is on the higher side, and can contribute to performance issues. How high is the Floodlight Cam mounted from the ground? Is the Floodlight Cam level with the ground, or do you have it angled downwards? The installation height and angle of the camera can both impact the motion detection.
