Ambient Static Crackling Audio in Live View - Normal?
I recently had three brand new Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro units professionally installed, and all of them have a strange audio issue. In both Live View (via the Ring app) and when viewing downloaded footage, silence is replaced by an annoying distorted static crackling sound. Here are two short YouTube videos showing the sound (5 seconds each): https://youtu.be/ykpE_NYNDGo https://youtu.be/S9SPTdtxisc Please listen to the videos above on your phone, if possible. The static/crackling is MUCH louder when listening through my iPhone 15's speakers compared to my laptop, probably due to frequency response. A few more details: - The issue doesn’t happen all the time, but it happens MOST of the time. It seems to happen much more during the night compared to during the day. - RSSI for the three cameras are -38, -55 and -61. All three suffer from the issue. - Since installing the cameras, I have purchased and installed a new more powerful Wifi router (because I thought his was the issue). It made no improvement to the noise issue whatsoever. - I also have an existing Ring Doorbell Pro (about 4-5 years old, RSSI -41) that doesn’t have this problem at all. Live View on the doorbell is quiet. - I've factory reset one of the cameras (the one I can reach most easily) a couple of times by holding down the button on top for 20 seconds, but unfortunately it hasn't made any difference. Is this considered normal? If not, any ideas on what might be causing it? Should I contact Ring support? Thanks.

Appreciate your response @Justin_Ring. I've already followed those troubleshooting steps with no improvement, unfortunately. I have also contacted Ring Support on a few occasions. I was told my case was escalated, but I still haven't heard back.

CHi @user_4fe973. In that case, I'd recommend following up with support as Justin mentioned. We can't view past support contacts on the Community, so we can't check on the status of your case, but our support team can.

Hi @Justin_Ring and @Caitlyn_Ring - appreciate your comments. I've followed up with Ring Support 4 times. Despite being told on the second call that my issue was escalated to the "Backend Team", I was told on a subsequent call this didn't actually happen. And now despite being told again to wait "24/48 hours for an email", I still haven't received anything. Is there some other way to get this escalated? Is there a support email? I feel like I'm just being thrown around.
