what devices actually trigger the alarm to alert a professionally monitored home
I am newish to Ring with professional monitoring and am concerned about false alarms. Will motion on any of my cameras or doorbell trigger an alarm? Sunlight sets off motion alerts many times a day on 2 of the cams and if that happens it will false alarm many times a day when in away mode. Will smoke/CO detectors or listening devices trigger an alarm? I hope so! Do these devices trigger in home mode? I hope so I assume motion detectors and door sensors WILL trigger an alarm. Do I need to use the keypad or can I control all of the arming/disarming from my phone. TIA

Hi @user_04c8d3. I will answer your questions in the order you asked them: - No, Cameras or Doorbells cannot trigger the Ring Alarm at all. - Yes, they do trigger the alarm, and yes, they can in Home mode. - You do not need to use the Keypad; you can solely use the Ring app on your phone to arm and disarm the Alarm. But I would strongly suggest using the Keypad as a backup in case you do not have access to your phone.
