Ring subscription

I have a ring home security system with no doorbell or cameras. I only have door and window and motion sensors. Ring does not allow you to use the app to arm and disarm the system unless you buy the more expensive 9.99 a month plan. I was willing to pay for the less expensive basic system at $4.99 a month, but that doesn’t allow the use of the app to arm the system. This a total ripoff as the more expensive plan simply gives me more video storage option I don’t want or need. Ring should definitely allow the lower subscription plan to arm and disarm your system thru the app. I think this is a ripoff and something that was not clear during all my research I’m sorry I bought the system now. As I am unable to remotely turn off the alarm if I I’m not home. Definitely think twice about buying this as 10 dollars a month is a lot to pay for simple app to arm your system.
