Ring subscription not applicable for accessories?

I have a ring protect plus plan and tried to buy a chime Pro 2 online . Could not get the price discount on ring. Com or amazon … even though is states that you will get a 10 % discount on all ring .com purchases accessories included Phoned ring support and apparently accessories are not eligible for a discount. Which one is it … so we are being lied to … I would like my discount to be applied
