Motion notifications delay.. if at all
Why are notifications from my ring doorbell delayed for anything up to a minute and longer on my android phone when my echo show notifies instantly . They're both on the same network and no vpns involved. Its beyond annoying as I bought the thing so I'd be alerted anywhere in the house and garden,I even bought an echo dot to install in my green house and can't get any notifications on it at all even though it's connected to the same network and it works fine responding to Alexa and playing music etc .These problems seem to be widespread and as far as I can see ring hasn't done much to address the problem.Maybe time to bin it and buy something that actually works how I expect it to.

Hi @user_f09608. If the notification on your Echo Show is coming through right away, this indicates that the notification is being sent in a timely manner. The issue then would be isolated with your phone, possibly something related to the cellular connection. Make sure your phone's software is updated, and check that you don't have any low data or low power settings enabled. Regarding the new Echo Dot you purchased, you may need to turn on Doorbell Announcements in the Alexa app. You should then be able to get an audible alert from the Echo Dot when someone rings your Doorbell.
