Ring doorbell app needs to be restarted every day

First of all the Ring doorbell is the biggest piece of crap on the planet, lets agree to that. It works once and then I have to restart the app. There are so many options on the app that there is no way of ever knowing if you are turning off the device somehow or stunting it or something. I want the app to have one button "On" and when I click that the cellphone rings immediately. On the rare occasion, the cellphone actually does ring, it is so late that the DHL guy in already back in his truck and I miss the delivery anyway. It seemed to work fine for the first couple of weeks and then with each update it got worse. Now the app has hundreds of options, each turning the doorbell off apparently. I do not have any accessory, only the doorbell and yet the app has pages of crap to wade through and no "On" button and I think that is all that 99.99999% of users need. A person pushes the doorbell and immediately my cellphone rings and shows a picture of who is there and I can talk to them.
