Latest update

I’ve been enjoying all of my Ring equipment for over a year. However, The latest update in my opinion is a move in the wrong direction. Red marks no longer appear on cameras with new events. As I have 6 cameras with varying degrees of priority, I now have to scroll through all to make sure I don’t miss anything critical. This means sometimes over 30 videos. Ugh. Is this feature gone for good?

Hi @user_c2a20e. At Ring, we are continually releasing new features and functionality based on customer feedback. The “Unseen Events Counter” was recently updated. Your feedback will be shared with our product team. We appreciate your input and your loyalty as a Ring customer.

WE WANT BACK THE NOTIFICATIONS ASAP! as a customer I'm thinking of getting somebody else for my security system. We can't be glue to the phone or check what's going on with out camaras without being properly notified. Most of the time my phone is in silence and that's the ONLY reliable notification I have TOOK AWAY THE 3 DOTS and put back the notifications please. This is caotic

I'd like to roll back to the prior version please. This latest update is horrible. I, like most, had personalized system settings and since this update, it has mostly changed... for the worse. When I change modes, I get alerts. I want that turned off. When opening the app, each camera no longer shows the number of new recordings. I now must open EACH CAMERA. Is there a way to restore my settings???

I agree, the latest version is terrible. Why oh why couldn't you just leave it alone as it was great before the update.I had to reset show live stream when clicking on video.Had to fix sound issues. Now because my group names are different I have to click on three separate groups to turn off multiple lights where before the update it was a one button press to turn off all lights. It's a terrible update. Why do programmers continue to screw up great functionality and turn it into crap.

This resetting “show live stream when clicking on video” to OFF seems to happen frequently. Why? I have six cameras and repeatedly have to re-enable the feature which requires multiple taps on each. Infuriating. I like the Ring hardware but the UI is execrable, and clearly built by people who never use it.

I had used the Ring App well until recently after it was updated. I am really confused which group in Ring worked on the so-called "update" that made the notification disappear!! It was totally a failure. If I were the supervisor of that group, I would ask the engineers to update it in the correct direction since it made customers worse off. I really doubt whether those people who updated the software have Ring cameras at home. If so, how can they have such ridiculous outcomes?! Ring, please bring notification back ASAP!!
