Still Need Ring Bridge?

Question

If I have Ring Alarm do I still need Ring Bridge to connect my various Ring lights and cameras together?  Does Ring alarm remove the need for Bridge?

Hi @walterdb. The Ring Alarm is only for the Ring Alarm Devices and other Z-Wave devices to connect to the Base Station, as it created a network hub for Z-Wave devices. The Ring cameras will connect to your router via wifi, so they will also not connect to the Ring Alarm. For the Smart Lighting, it connects via the radio frequencies hub that the Ring Bridge creates and then connects to the Smart Lighting devices on. Hope this helps clear this up for you!
