Sensor Battery Draining too quickly
I have 4 Generation 2 sensors, 3 are on windows, and 1 is on a sliding door. The issue I am having is the battery on the sensor on the sliding door is draining way too quickly. I removed it and tried to reinstall it to the system. Now the app is saying that sensor needs a factory reset. I tried to reset it, I even removed the batteries and reinserted them (they are 2 brand new 2032 type batteries) that i just recently installed in this sensor. I'm at my wits end, please help!

I went ahead and replaced the batteries from a working sensor, and placed them into the one not working. This sensor is dead, I get no flashing lights when trying to do a factory reset. Wonderful, I hope your company is willing to work with me and get this replaced, as this system is less than a year old. I will spend my time to give support on Facebook @ Ring. If you are reading this folks, I cannot recommend this system.

Hi @user54313. Here is a test you can try. Since you have multiple sensors, move this sensor to a location to where there is a known, good working sensor. Move the good working sensor to the location where the battery is draining quickly. This will let you know if there is interference at the location of the sensors, if the signal is poor, or if the sensor is bad. If the battery drains at the new location, there may be an issue with the sensor. If this is the case, please send us a private message on Facebook @Ring or give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus).
