Schlage BE469

Have Schlage BE469 trying to connect to Ring App. Have a Ring Pro Alarm Base Station. The Schlage lock is within direct line of sight of base station 20ft away. I go thru the steps to add the device enter the program code as described in the ring app, but it will not pair. The Schlage Lock is transmitting as the light blinks for about a minute then shows the red x. Any help here would be appreciated.

Hi @rdhigdon. I would first follow the manufacturers instructions on performing a factory reset on the Smart Lock. Next, unplug your Base Station and plug it in as close to the Smart Lock as possible, within 3-4 ft. You may need to use an extension cord to achieve this. With the Base Station close, go ahead and attempt to connect your Smart Lock. If you've tried this to no avail, you can reach out to our support team to assist you further.
