Ring Notifications - Someone is at the front door - when alarm goes offline and when contact sensors are toggled to alert

My Phone and echo devices in my house make the announcement " Someone is at the front door" If the alarm goes offline (loses internet) or comes back online. It also does this if I go to the settings for contact sensors and move the slider for open or close alerts its says the same thing. If I turn off the sliders for the contact censor it just does the beep on the alarm and keypad. I cant figure out why it says "Someone is at the front door" when the system has a change. I checked routines in echo and nothing there.

Hi @user17159. I recommend disabling the Ring Skill and enabling it again to see if it helps. This Help Center [page](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050373832-What-to-do-if-your-Ring-and-Alexa-Features-Stopped-Working-) will give you the steps for doing so. I would also try giving your Base Station a reboot using the Ring app. To reboot it, go to your Base Station's Device Settings, select Advanced Options, and tap on Reboot System. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus) to further invistigate. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
