Ring Keypad (Gen2) Battery Light Not Staying On or Blinking
While the battery indicators in the app all show about 1/2 green, I decided to proactively charge all three of my Ring Alarm Keypads today. However, when I plug them into power, the green battery light only comes on momentarily, and then turns off...no blinking to indicate charging, and no solid green to indicate fully charged. This behavior is the same with all three keypads. They've all been plugged in now for about 15 minutes - no change. If I unplug & re-plug them, the same thing happens - battery light for a moment, then nothing. Am I missing something? Even if the batteries were fully charged, I'd expect to see a solid green. Does the lack of any battery indicator light mean there's a problem with the battery/keypad? Or is it simply not charging because it's already sufficiently charged (in which case I'd expect to see a solid green battery light)?

Hey there, neighbors! As long as you charge the Keypad for several hours, the battery level should be sufficient. Any lights that show once charged should only be due to activity or status. Depending on power mode options selected for the Keypad in your Ring app, the Keypad may or may not illuminate for certain statuses. @Marley_Ring , you have only pointed me to the source of my confusion (and, you've pointed us to the 1st Gen Keypad information, not 2nd Gen, although there may not be a difference in battery light behavior between the two). Hence my question. My battery light is not blinking green during charging (nor is it remaining solid green, like the 1st Gen Keypad explanation indicates, when it is fully charged). So, I'm looking for a response that doesn't merely point to the instructions/information that I've already read (several times).

THi @Shl. Happy to chime in for Marley. If your Keypad is not responding with the correct LED lights, you can try to reboot your Keypad to see if that will cause it to behave normally. To reboot it, simply use the provided pushpin and tap the reset button on the Keypad and allow about 30 seconds before plugging in again.
