Ring Base station amber light

Just purchased a new ring base station. On arrival, I opened it up and started setting it up but had some Wi-Fi issues, put everything back in the box, passed a cable and got everything out again. Now when i've plugged the base station in again, the power light is remaining amber and not displaying any ring lights for me to start the pairing.. any ideas?

Hi @user28686. This Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052882811-Troubleshooting-your-Ring-Alarm) is a great place to start. Try rebooting your Base Station by tapping the reset button on the back with a paperclip. Be sure to not hold the reset button down, as this will initiate the factory reset process, which can cause problems if not done correctly. Also, be sure all of the cables are in securely and not loose. Let me know if this helps!
