Ring Alarm smoke detector

I have the ring alarm system and 3 first alert Smoke and CO detectors in my rental property. I have the monitor service as well. The smoke alarm went off when one of my tenants was cooking chicken today. Me and my wife are on the list of people to call when the alarm goes off. We both received the call but my phone was on vibrate and my wife’s phone was downstairs where no one was. The fire department came and my tenants told them it was a false alarm. My question is can I add my tenants to the list of contacts when the alarm goes off? When they move out, can I remove them? I do share with them access to the ring system including the exterior cameras, but not sure what else I can do. Thanks for your help!
