Ring alarm pro base station

I have looked at the ring alarm pro and it has 2 Ethernet ports and because of the distance away from the cameras there is no way that it will connect. So to still utilise backup internet feature can I plug in my access points to the Ethernet ports on the back as my ring cameras are connected to the access points?
