Ring Alarm Multiple Zones for Main Residence and Garden Room

Hi, I am trying to work out if i can have multiple zones in the ring alarm. I have a garden office and main residence in the same location. I would like it to have an alarm. When I am not in the office I want to arm it fully, but not the rest of the house. If I cant create a Home and office Zone, can I have two alarms on the same network / location. But say for example we go out or away, I want to be able to fully arm the house and the office. One alarm - multiple detection zones that can be independantly armed. Two Alarms in the same location, connected to the same home network (different IP Address ranges are possible) working independently of one another. This is a repeat of a previous raised question from some time ago but was not answered fully. Can you please confirm:- 1.) Can have multiple zones in the same ring alarm subscription on the same network armed independly from one another? 2.) If not possible can I have two alarms in the same location, connected to the same home network armed independly and will it require multiple subscriptions for alarm notification?

Hi @user_cb4c53. At this time, you are not able to have multiple alarm zones. You can choose to have certain Senors active during certain Modes, but they will not be in different "zones". It is possible to have more than one Ring Alarm system on your wifi network, however, only one can be professionally monitored. Also, you can only have one Ring Alarm system per location, so you'd need to create a new location for the new Ring Alarm. Let me know if you have additional question about this.

Can you elaborate on "You can choose to have certain Senors active during certain Modes" Can I have my sensors in Garden Room assigned to one mode and sensors in house assigned to another. SO i can set them indepenently from one another? This is what I want to achieve:- 1.) My garden room is used during the day in office hours. I want to set the alarm active for those sensors only after hours. Whilst the house remains deactive. 2.) Main residence I want to set alarm active for down stairs sensors only during night. 3.) My main residence I want to set active when I am not at home and ideally arm both main residence and garden room. Is this achievable in any way?

Hi @user_cb4c53. Correct. If you view the Mode settings in your Ring app, you'll find that you can have some sensors ignored during a specific Mode. You can find our more about this here: https://ring.com/support/articles/p0klz/Controlling-Your-Ring-Devices-with-Modes I would suggest reviewing the article and seeing if you could fit this to your home. Let me know how this goes for you.
