Keypad problems

My Keypad is no longer functioning. It appears bloated, like the battery may have exploded.

    I wonder if this is a common issue or defect with these because I think my battery exploded inside too because my entry pad also looks bloated and the number pads side the keys are pushed out. 🤔🤔
