It seems like Ring RetroFit blew out 2 wired zones

Only had it for a month. Blew out one wired zone the first day. Thought it was a coincidence. Sent that reteofit back and ordered a new one. Installed the new one with no other issue. Fast forward to today- Opened a window in my living room for a second. Closed the window but the app still showed it was open. Did a reset. Nothing. I tested the line and there's no cnnection(open).
