How to disable celullar connectivity when using it in self monitoring

As the subject suggests, I am using the Ring Alarm in self monitoring mode and do not need celullar connectivity. Is there a way to turn off the "celullar radio" from within the app? I'm trying to cut down as much as possible on things radiating at home. Thank you!

You can just turn off your data on the phone.

If you togle off professional monitoring on the base station I think the cellular connection goes off. I think you can look in the app and see. I am not near mine to test that. Other than that suggestion, I would call Ring Support and talk with them.

Hmm, I think I don't have professional monitoring activated and I can still see that I am connected via 3G.

I just learned that 3G actually works with self-monitoring. If I turn the Internet OFF at home, I can still control the alarm system remotely using my smartphone through the celullar network.
