Flood sensor not working in Europe

Hi,Since the flood sensor was not available in Europe, I was told to get it from US, that it would be compatible. However, when I tried to install it, it tells me this sensor is not compatible with my region (Europe, Spain)Can you confirm this? Can I return it? Is there any plans to get a flood sensor available in Europe?-J
