Flood & Freeze Sensor not Showing in Alexa App

I added my new flood and freeze sensor to ring, but it's not showing up in my Alexa app. The only reason I bought this sensor was to make a routine with it as a trigger.

Hi @RingDong. The Flood and Freeze Sensor is not supported by Alexa integration at this time. Currently, you're able to arm and disarm the system via Alexa, as outlined in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020893671-Arming-and-Disarming-Your-Alarm-with-Alexa). I hope this helps clear things up for you! :)

I'm also able to currently use all of my contact sensors to trigger routines. I made an assumption that the flood sensor would show up too. Several people on the Amazon Q&A claimed that routines worked with this sensor. I guess I should really know by now that Amazon Q&A is garbage. Sadly, this sensor does not do what I need it to do, so it is going right back to Amazon. Thanks for your reply.

Do you have an ETA for when Ring Flood sensor will be available in Alexa? It is very important and useful for many users to have this integration.

Hi @presi. At this time, we do not have an anticipated time for when this may be available. Be sure to stay up to date with our [News and Announcements](https://community.ring.com/t5/News-and-Announcements/bd-p/News_and_announcements) board!

I bought these for the same reason. I want Alexa to tell my water shutoff solenoid to shut off.

Quite silly to not have this as a basic fundamental capability, also a big reason why I bought the Ring system, others were saying they integrated the flood/freeze sensor into the Alexa routines but surprisingly this does not seem to be true.

+1 for this feature request. The flood sensors are actually the reason I bought the Ring Alarm system. It would be good to bring the flood sensors into the Alexa ecosystem.

Also very disappointed that you have not implemented. Are you short staffed? This an easy integration. All sensors should be integrated in.

Crazy that this is not supported. Right now my options are to wait for Ring support in Alexa or to switch from Ring Water/Freeze Sensors to buying a Samsung SmartThing hub with SmartThing water leak sensors. By the way, SmartThing water sensors are less expensive than Ring Flood and Freeze sensors. I was willing to pay more because I really like the integration with Ring, but not having the ability to trigger my water main shut-off when water is detected is a huge deal. I realize that their is a Moen option now, but it is extremely expensive as opposed to the motorized shut-offs that are on the market. It also requires you to hire a plumber (for those less mechanically inclined like myself). Any update on Alexa support?

I'm guessing the flood sensor is still not supported by Alexa... very disappointed and will be returning the sensors.
