Arming/Disarming Ring Alarm with Schlage Lock

I am thinking about getting the Schlage Connect to use for a door so I can let the dog walker in without giving out keys. I see that the lock can arm/disarm the Ring alarm and am wondering if there is a way to set this up so it only occurs under certain circumstances (e.g. have the Schlage arm the Ring only if the Ring was also disarmed by the Schlage). I don't want the alarm arming every time I go outside, come back in, and then lock the door.
