Wired ring doorbell intermittently enters bootup loop

Hi, Just received my hardwired doorbell and fitted it. Got it all setup however every few hours it crashes out comes offline and enters start up/boot up mode repeatedly with the start up sound going off every 15 seconds indefinitely in a repeat cycle. The only way to stop this is to reset by holding the orange button for 10 seconds. What can be causing this? Is it a faulty unit?Thanks
