Why isnt my doorbell recording motion?

My doorbell doesnt seem to record all motion. It records me leaving for work, then returning home. My phone chimes with a notification but when i look back there is nothing recorded inbetween me leaving, then coming home. There has been postman and bin men so its not that theres nothing there. Bit useless if its temperamental on what it wants to record. I have a plan and its set to record every motion and every area of outside my front door. Anyone know what else i could do? Thankyou

I recommend checking your [Motion Frequency setting](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003477106-Understanding-and-Optimizing-Motion-Detection-with-Motion-Frequency) specifically.
