White spinning light not appearing after perform factory reset (Pressing orange button for 20 seconds)
Hi All, I got Ring Door bell Generation - 1 which I bought 18 months ago. Ring door bell was not working since 7th July and Customer Service asked me to perform factory reset (Pressing orange button for 20 seconds) and press the orange button once to get white spinning light. **I didn't get white spinning light**. Does anyone experience the same issue? Please help/=,

I just bough a house with this ring cam the seller is not the original owner -- can I do a master reset and set up for my use.

CHi @user48614. Ring devices can only be set up under one Ring account at a time. If the original owners have not removed it from their Ring account, you will not be able to set it up under your account. Resetting a device doesn't remove it from a Ring account. I'd recommend reviewing [this article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038010351-How-to-Take-Over-or-Change-Ownership-of-a-Ring-Device) from our Help Center which goes over the process for changing device ownership. Yes I have the ring video doorbell generation 2. Battery operated. I followed the instruction in the ring app but guess what? Every time I press the black button it will not set up. Does anybody else with a ring video doorbell? 2. Have the same problem if you guys do, can you please tell me if you guys found a solution
