Video freezes as person approaches

So consistently now (ongoing issue) if a person walks up my walkway the camera picks them up from afar and recognizes a person versus just movement, but just prior to the button being pressed the video freezes for several seconds, and then recovers. Typically the delivery person or ringer is down my driveway and leaving. Anyone got a fix? @cnance How strong is the WiFi connection at the doorbell itself? Could you post your RSSI value from the Ring app please.
