Ring Video Pro - Motion alert goes to e-mail but not going to Echo Dot

Ring Video Pro doorbell detects motion or doorbell ring and sends email alert to my I-phone. With the Alexa Dot it only receives the doorbell notification. It does not get a motion alert. What needs to be done to have the motion alert sent to the Echo Dot?

    I contacted Ring customer support by phone and they advised to go to the device in the Alexa App. Then turn Motion Notifications off and back on. That worked!
