Ring Video Doorbell 2 bell push light 'flaring' at night

I have a Ring Video Doorbell 2, powered by a mains transformer.I also have a CCTV camera facing the doorbell.I have noticed that during the night the doorbell button light ‘flares’ noticeably, recently on a 14 minute repeating pattern. (I have screen shots of this)Can you tell me if this is a warning or a problem with the doorbell?
