Ring not picking up motion

We have a hard wired ring doorbell which is becoming useless and doesn't warrant having anymore as it is not picking up people walking past the camera. Smart setting is switched off so not sure what to do

Hi @user_3c637f. What is the RSSI listed as on the Device Health page? This is an indication of the wifi signal strength, which can impact your Doorbell's motion detection. Additionally, do you have Modes set up for your Doorbell? The Modes feature requires a compatible Ring Home plan, but it allows you to turn motion detection on and off.
