Ring network always on?

Hi,I installed my ring doorbell, got everything setup but the ring setup network stays on... is that normal? Is the ring-fd***** network always supposed to be on?If not, I can’t figure out how to turn it off... I’ve tried to reset and re-add.

Hi, you don’t say what phone/OS you are using, but if you have finished setup and everything seems to be working ok, the Ring SSID should not be broadcasting. If a toggle of wifi off/on does not clear it, do you have any “forget network” option for that SSID in your wifi network list?
