Ring doorbell pro - mechanical door bell, power kit
app-settings
Hey guys fresh setup. Everything works if I set my door bell type to NONE. If I set it to mechanical the ring doorbell itself shorts out and turns off and reboots, the inside mechanical bell does not go off. Picture of power kit setup. What am I doing wrong? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LBtYITC9cxq7c4CSEb9_YI64URq_BuPt/view?usp=sharing

Hi @shipracer. The first thing you'll want to check is if your chime kit is compatible with your Doorbell Pro. You can check it on our list [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/209028546-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List) to make sure it's compatible. If that checks out, then you'll want to make sure the Pro Power Kit is wired properly by looking at the steps [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005974286-How-to-Install-Pro-Power-Kit-V2-for-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro). Should this concern persist after checking the above, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support. :)
