Ring Doorbell Operating Temperature!

I was really surprised when I read this article. I live in northern Michigan and I would not consider below zero being an 'extreme' temperature. Even with a lithium battery, if hardwired, my Ring doorbell should continue to work. https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046229812-Ring-Devices-and-Extreme-Temperatures-
