Ring doorbell intermittent operation
My doorbell (ring doorbell), which has worked fine for 2 years, now intermittently works (or doesnt!).I've missed multiple deliveries due to the doorbell not working.It says it is 'online' and has no issues, but it just will not send a ring alert when the doorbell is pressed.Wifi hasn't changed. Doorbell is reserved in the router.When i tested it yesterday, worked fine....yet when i tested it today....no joy.Any ideas?

This was happening to us as well and it turned out that the doorbell will not ring more than once. There is a period of about a minute following the first ring where the doorbell is totally inoperable and no additional chimes or notifications will be send. Apparently this is "by design" and customer support told me I could "buy more chimes" if I wasn't hearing the one we have installed. I was flabbergasted at the terrible design and the suggestion that I should spend more money with Ring to fix it.The professional installation cost is wasted, but I will be returning these paperweights and warning everyone I can to stay away from this product and company.
