Ring Video Doorbell
Ring doorbell connects, tries to update and goes back offline
Both my ring doorbell and stick up camera have been offline for about a week or so. I feel like I've tried everything, I know that my Internet isn't the problem. Every time I try to reset them up it says setup successful but then does back to being offline - both record events in event history and I get notified when the doorbell rings but there is no live video from either. Is this still an issue stemming from the July 9th outage?

How did you know to try this? I was able to get my doorbell camera set up easily but in the evening it went offline and now i cannot get it back. when i get it to set up mode it makes an attempt but quickly stops spinning and never connects to the wifi. What settings do i look for on the firewall

Resolved. Turns out it was my internet - not so much the speed or connectivity but the firewall was on too strict of a setting.
