Hello! I have a ring doorbell 2nd generation since January of this year. This morning at 10 AM it stopped recording and sending me motion notifications. When I tried to reboot the device, it did not allow me to connect to any Wi-Fi networks. Our community internet is controlled by Smartaira, one is regular and the other is 2.4 GHZ. I tried several times to connect to both, but they did not work. My Internet provider added the Mac address to the backend, try again, did not connect. I tried to connect the ring to a hotspot and that worked. I called my Internet provider again which is when they told me the s 2nd generation doorbell is not able to work with their Wi-Fi. I’m confused since l’ve been using this device on the current Wi-Fi since January. Internet provider said they have made no changes recently, and that the 2nd generation doorbell is just not compatible. Is this true and are there any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? Thank you so much!
