Phantom Chime/Ringing at Night - How to diagnose?

Video Doorbell (Gen 1) - Hardwired I bought this back in XXXX and noticed in the past couple of years, I’ve been having random door chimes happen at night. When this happens, I don’t get alerts on my ring app, so I know no one is actually there, because if someone is, my ring app sends me a notification. Done a bit of digging and see that people online mention upgrading the transformer as an option. I see that Ring sells a hardwired transformer for about $25. If I get this will it solve my issue? What are the logical order of things I should check/fix first to diagnose this problem to make sure it gets solved correctly and efficiently? Thanks.
