  I share Amazon account with family and for some reason they get a notification when someone rings my ring2 doorbell, how can I stop this

  Good question @colin288! While the owner of the Ring account controls device settings, such as motion settings, the shared user has the choice of receiving alerts. Once you've shared someone to your Ring device, they cannot alter it in any way, but they can see history and choose between alert preferences for their mobile device. This means that if you snooze your alerts, a shared user may still choose to receive motion or ring alerts. If you are not receiving alerts, and would like to, please check your device alert settings in your Ring app. I hope this helps! :)
