New ring doorbell installed

Our new doorbell did not record anything last night, the first night we had it. It quit working at 7:17 last night. When we discovered it wasn't working at 2:18 p.m. today, I pushed the reset button on the side and it is working again. I'll be watching for a video after dark.

Hi @user_f85941. With an active Ring Protect subscription, your Ring Doorbell will record when motion is detected, someone rings the bell, or when you activate the Live View. Make sure you've set up your Motion Zones to capture the common pathways that visitors to your door take, and adjust the Motion Sensitivity if needed. 😊
