My Ring Doorbell 4 keeps freezing and Wifi signal is not the problem

Question

I just installed my Ring Doorbell battery 4. And when it detects a person it shows the video and everything is fine for like 5 seconds and then it freezes until the video is over. I have a stick up cam too and I haven't had a single problem with it. What can I do to make it where the Doorbell doesnt freeze? its going to be useless if someone does try to break in and the video freezes. please help.

Hi @user24014. There's a few things that can be causing this. First, what is the RSSI for your device. This information is located in the Device Health menu of the Ring app. Second, make sure that you are using the correct [ports and protocols](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/205385394-The-Protocols-and-Ports-Used-by-Ring-Devices) for Ring devices. If you are still having this issue, try connecting your device to a WiFi hotspot and activating a Live View. If you no longer have this issue, you'll know it's related to your WiFi network.
