Motion detecting car lights at night

I have a Video Doorbell 4, I’ve tried changing the motion area and sensitivity as I’m recently getting more notifications when its dark because of the lights from cars/buses. The lights would reflect onto the brick wall opposite the camera and a motion would be detected. If i reduce the the motion area anymore then there wouldn’t be any point having it anymore. Does anyone have any reason to why its detecting cars/bus lights? This has only started recently and nothing has been changed in environment and camera.

Hi @Roselle. The Doorbell uses a passive infrared (PIR) sensor for detecting motion. You may need to adjust the angle of the Doorbell to mitigate these false notifications. Are there steps or a hill leading up to your Doorbell?
