Low voice on ring

I have the ring, not pro , that’s works with a battery . My problem is the volume is too low when I talk to the person ringing the doorbell. Is there any way to adjust it higher ? If not this is a bad product and they need to upgrade me for free as it started out ok and now you can’t hardly hear us using our phones (Apple 8plus).
