Jumper cable for second chime box
hardwired-video-doorbell
I just purchased a ring wired doorbell. It seems like my house has two chime boxes, one is on the 1st floor and the other one is on the 2nd floor. Do I need to install jumper cable on the both chime boxes? If so can I purchase the cable at Home Dept, etc.? I see some parts are available on ring online store and Amazon but I want to get the cable today.

Hi @smring. I actually shared some information regarding the installation of the Doorbell Wired in a similar thread, which you can take a look at [here](https://community.ring.com/t/jumper-cable-deta-doorbell/67355). I'd recommend checking that out and seeing if you can find your answer there. If not, our support team can always help at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406).
