How do you attach a Ring Pro 2 doorbell to a porch frame

Can someone please tell me what sort of screw i can use to attach the Ring Pro 2 to a porch door frame (aluminium). The instructions say only use the screws enclosed, but they are only for either brick / concrete or wood. Can i make a small hole and use the included long screw? Thanks in advance.
