We agree. This definitely needs to be a feature. Many many many customers have many more or one more or a couple more than one door in the house. It be super helpful if the doorbell that activates the time and the time itself could be differentiated. I will add this as a feature request to the link provided.

Hi @v40jlt4. We do not have any information regarding your concern. Also, I was able to find a Feature Request post where other neighbors are asking for the same feature for the Ring Chimes. Feel free to add a vote or comment on this Feature Request post [here](https://community.ring.com/t/2-ring-doorbells-2-different-chime-tones-based-on-doorbell-activated/14282).

We have 2 doors, a front and a back door. We have 2 chimes and need to  know to which door to go when the button is pushed on a door bell. This is basic to older, wired doorbells where you get a different sound based on which door bell is pressed. Sounds like it can be a simple change to associate a door bell to a chime on the network. Any idea when we may get this update, its so frustrating having to go to both doors to see which has someone there.

Coding laziness. I've got three doorbells, and one chime, with only one active ringtone that doesn't distinguish between doorbell locations. Shame on you ring developers (and the Product managers that would need to approve the code changes)!!!

I'm wondering if the chime doesn't have enough local flash/nvram (what ever storage it uses) to cache multiple sound files.  Even if that's the case, we are talking about very small amount of storage to cache 5-10 sound files (ring tone samples) Again, something the Product Managers should have addressed a LONG time ago. Elizabeth Hamren, are you paying attention???????
