Friedland D844

Hi, I have a Ring doorbell (gen2) and a Friedland D884 chime. The chime is listed in the compatibility list but I'm not sure how I should connect the chime with the transformer and the Ring doorbell. The original wiring diagram of the Friedland (see image) shows that you connect the transformer to pin 4 and 5 and a classic doorbell to pin 2 and 3. But the wiring diagram on the support site shows that I should connect the transformer with the ring doorbell, from the ring doorbell to the chime and from the chime back to the transformer. Anyone knows how I should connect the Ring doorbell with the Friedland chime? Tnx
