Doorbell takes too long to send notification

Our security provider just replaced our yale product with a ring doorbell and I am really disappointed with the performance. The main issue is the time it takes for the device to send notifications to my phone. Doorbell activation varies but often takes well over 2 mins, at which stage the visitor has left.The motion detector works, but I can walk out of the door and get at least 3 houses down the road before the notification comes through.The device has good wifi signal and the video quality and sound is good. Live view works, but can take over 30s to activate.Our supplier welcomed our feedback on the product, but as the product was new to him, he could not help.Any ideas how to improve the performance?
