Doorbell Pro Won’t Reconnect
I have tried to reconnect/reinstall my 2 year old Doorbell Pro (front door)and I keep getting a message that it wants to join WiFi “Ring-abc123” and then unable to join network. This network does not show in my WiFi settings. I do get the spinning white circle when I press the reset button. Also tried rebooting my modem. My back door Doorbell Pro continues to work perfectly. What else can I do?

Thank you Caitlyn. I am using an Apple phone and iPad. I tried all of the procedures, including rebooting the phone and router with no luck. Always get the Unable to Join Network response. Right now, the doorbell is stuck on the spinning white light and does not timeout. This doorbell has worked great for about 2 years and the same backdoor bell is working fine, so I don’t know why it suddenly stopped working.

C@JerryInIL Try resetting the Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is done, attempt the setup process again and see if it will connect to the setup network. If that doesn't work, you might want to adjust some of the cellular data and wifi settings on your phone, which can be changed back after the setup. In Apple device Settings, there's a setting that can be changed that often helps when you're trying to connect to the Ring network. In the Apple Settings (the gear icon) tap Wi-Fi. Under Wi-Fi, you'll see different network names. You may need to scroll up on the screen to see Ask to Join Networks. Tap Ask to Join Networks and select Ask. Then, try set up again to see if the Ring network will allow you to connect.

Hi @JerryInIL. When the in-app setup is failing and you're not able to connect to the Ring setup network, there are multiple, simple, troubleshooting steps you can try in order to connect to the Ring network:1. Reboot your Apple device (shut down completely and then power on)2. Adjust the [Smart Network Switch](https://support.google.com/android/answer/9654714?hl=en) on your Android phone3. Make sure your battery is fully charged if you've attempted set up multiple times during a first time set up. (Batteries are not shipped with 100% charge because of legal regulations.)4. Try setting up on a different mobile device (another mobile phone or a tablet)5. Check Apple Wi-Fi Settings. (Go to Settings on your mobile device, then to WiFi. Make sure Wi-Fi is toggled on. Under Ask to Join Networks, choose Ask.)If those don't work, you can find some more troubleshooting steps in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217240386-In-app-Setup-Failing-Repeatedly). I hope this helps. :)
